Surratt is cruelty free but not 100% vegan

Surratt does not and will not conduct animal testing on the finished products or ingredients, nor does it ask others to test on its behalf. All necessary tests are carried out on human volunteers. The brand does not export to mainland China and other countries with mandatory animal testing. Surratt is proudly cruelty free and firmly stands against animal testing.

Parent company

2x Partners completed the acquisition of Surratt in 2018. The founder, Troy Surratt, still remains the largest individual shareholder. Despite the acquisition, Surratt remains cruelty free.


Currently Surratt is not certified by any major animal rights organisation.
