Sol de Janeiro is cruelty free but not 100% vegan

Sol de Janeiro pledges that the brand does not conduct, contract out or fund animal testing in the developing, manufacturing or marketing of their products. Whilst Sol de Janeiro recognises the importance of customer safety, the brand believes this can be sufficiently achieved without animal cruelty. Sol de Janeiro is cruelty free and stands against animal testing. Furthermore, Sol de Janeiro does not export its products to mainland China and/or other countries, where animal testing is required by law.

Cruelty free statement

Q: Do you test your products on animals?

A: We literally love every body and are proudly cruelty-free. We have an adorable little office mascot named Sete and we would never test on her, or any of her friends! We only test our products on ourselves.

Additionally, none of our raw materials are tested on animals, nor do any of our labs or suppliers, and we do not sell our products in any market where animal testing is required by law.
