Skinny Tan is cruelty free and 100% vegan

Skinny Tan pledges that the brand does not conduct, contract out or fund animal testing in the developing, manufacturing or marketing of their products. Whilst Skinny Tan recognises the importance of customer safety, the brand believes this can be sufficiently achieved without animal cruelty. Skinny Tan is cruelty free and stands against animal testing. Furthermore, Skinny Tan does not export its products to mainland China and/or other countries, where animal testing is required by law.

There was no question that Skinny Tan would have to be paraben-free, sulfate-free not tested on animals and suitable for vegans.


Skinny Tan is a British mid-range self tanning brand.

The brand gained popularity after two founders appeared on BBC’s Dragon’s Den in 2013, their success was phenomenal, Kate and Louise got nine offers from five dragons.

Parent company

InnovaDerma completed the acquisition Skinny Tan in 2015. Despite the acquisition, Skinny Tan remains cruelty free.
