Sante is cruelty free but not 100% vegan

Sante pledges that the brand does not conduct, contract out or fund animal testing in the developing, manufacturing or marketing of their products. Whilst Sante recognises the importance of customer safety, the brand believes this can be sufficiently achieved without animal cruelty. Sante is cruelty free and stands against animal testing. Furthermore, Sante does not export its products to mainland China and/or other countries, where animal testing is required by law.

Cruelty free statement

Humanity, to us, cannot coexist with animal testing. Animal welfare is a matter close to our hearts. It goes without saying that SANTE does not carry out any animal testing during production or development and does not test raw ingredients or final products on animals.

Sante is a German entry-level skin, body, hair, oral care and makeup brand.

Parent company

L’Oréal completed the acquisition of Sante in 2018. L’Oréal is not cruelty free, the company supports animal testing and heavily present on the Chinese beauty market. Despite the acquisition Sante remains cruelty free.

  • PETA awarded SANTE with the Beauty Without Bunnies certification
