SANTE is cruelty free but not 100% vegan

SANTE does not and will not conduct animal testing on the finished products or ingredients, nor does it ask others to test on its behalf. All necessary tests are carried out on human volunteers. The brand does not export to mainland China and other countries with mandatory animal testing. SANTE is proudly cruelty free and firmly stands against animal testing.

Humanity, to us, cannot coexist with animal testing. Animal welfare is a matter close to our hearts. It goes without saying that SANTE does not carry out any animal testing during production or development and does not test raw ingredients or final products on animals.


SANTE is a German entry-level skin and body care brand.

Parent company

L’Oréal completed the acquisition of SANTE in 2018. L’Oréal is not cruelty free, the company supports animal testing and heavily present on the Chinese beauty market. Despite the acquisition, SANTE remains cruelty free.


PETA awarded SANTE with the Beauty Without Bunnies certification.

Packaging statement

Of course we care about what is in our products. Equally important to us is the packaging material. Therefore, from 2020, the folding boxes of our products will be made of 100% recycled fibres and our labels of 50% recycled plastic (rPE) & 50% industrial waste produced. We also use 100% recycled rPET for our bottles.
