Pureology pledges that the brand does not conduct, contract out or fund animal testing in the developing, manufacturing or marketing of their products. Whilst Pureology recognises the importance of customer safety, the brand believes this can be sufficiently achieved without animal cruelty. Pureology is cruelty free and stands against animal testing. Furthermore, Pureology does not export its products to mainland China and/or other countries, where animal testing is required by law.

Parent company

L’Oréal completed the acquisition of Pureology in 2007. L’Oréal is not cruelty free, the company supports animal testing and heavily present on the Chinese beauty market. Despite the acquisition, Pureology remains cruelty free.
