KVD Vegan Beauty pledges that the brand does not conduct, contract out or fund animal testing in the developing, manufacturing or marketing of their products. Whilst KVD Vegan Beauty recognises the importance of customer safety, the brand believes this can be sufficiently achieved without animal testing. KVD Vegan Beauty is cruelty free and stands against animal cruelty. Furthermore, KVD Vegan Beauty does not export its products to mainland China and/or other countries, where animal testing is required by law.

Parent company

Kendo completed the acquisition of KVD Vegan Beauty in 2020. Kendo is a PETA certified, cruelty free group but it also has a parent company LVMH, which isn’t cruelty free. Despite the acquisition, KVD Vegan Beauty remains against animal cruelty.
