Carmex is cruelty free but not 100% vegan
Carmex pledges that the brand does not conduct, contract out or fund animal testing in the developing, manufacturing or marketing of their products. Whilst Carmex recognises the importance of customer safety, the brand believes this can be sufficiently achieved without animal cruelty. Carmex is cruelty free and stands against animal testing. Furthermore, Carmex does not export its products to mainland China and/or other countries, where animal testing is required by law.
Cruelty free statement
Q: Is Carmex® tested on animals?
A: We never test on animals. Carmex® founder Alfred Woelbing believed animal testing to be uselessly and needlessly cruel, and that stance against animal testing has remained a part of our culture.
All Carmex® products undergo a thorough chemical analysis before they leave our facility.
