Botanics is cruelty free but not 100% vegan

Botanics pledges that the brand does not conduct, contract out or fund animal testing in the developing, manufacturing or marketing of their products. Whilst Botanics recognises the importance of customer safety, the brand believes this can be sufficiently achieved without animal cruelty. Botanics is cruelty free and stands against animal testing. Furthermore, Botanics does not export its products to mainland China and/or other countries, where animal testing is required by law.

Q: Is Botanics cruelty free?

A: No animal testing is undertaken by Walgreens Boots Alliance. At Botanics, we don’t conduct animal testing on our products, nor do we commission animal testing on our products or on ingredients used in our products.

Q: Are Botanics product sold in China?

A: No. At Botanics we’re proud to stand against animal testing and until China changes its stance on this for imported cosmetic and beauty products we will not launch Botanics in China.

A: All Botanics products are suitable for Vegetarians. However 4 of our Organic products contain Beeswax and are therefore not suitable for Vegans.
