Avril is cruelty free but not 100% vegan

Avril pledges that the brand does not conduct, contract out or fund animal testing in the developing, manufacturing or marketing of their products. Whilst Avril recognises the importance of customer safety, the brand believes this can be sufficiently achieved without animal cruelty. Avril is cruelty free and stands against animal testing. Furthermore, Avril does not export its products to mainland China and/or other countries, where animal testing is required by law.

We sell certified organic cosmetics by independent organizations and recognized cruelty free by the association PETA. Indeed, according to European regulations, we do not perform any tests on animals. We are also against the practice of animal testing in non-EU markets.
