Aesop is cruelty free and 100% vegan

Aesop pledges that the brand does not conduct, contract out or fund animal testing in the developing, manufacturing or marketing of their products. Whilst Aesop recognises the importance of customer safety, the brand believes this can be sufficiently achieved without animal cruelty. Aesop is cruelty free and stands against animal testing. Furthermore, Aesop does not export its products to mainland China and/or other countries, where animal testing is required by law.

Q: Are Aesop products tested on animals?

A: We have never tested our products or ingredients on animals. We have never conducted nor commissioned animal testing for any product.

Before we consider entry into a new country, we extensively review the regulatory requirements to ensure that compulsory animal testing on our products is not required.
